Keep Fill Program
Mayer Distributing offers a Keep Fill program that takes the worry out of your home heating needs. Depending upon your previous year's usage, tank size and weather conditions, our state-of-the-art computer system automatically computes when you need your tank refilled. There is no need to read your tank gauge; we are notified automatically when your tank needs to be filled and we will be there!
- If your thermostat is set above normal settings for long periods of time, the calculations will not be accurate and therefore, you may run out of fuel. Please advise us immediately if you keep your thermostat set above 70 degrees on a regular basis. We will set your account accordingly.
- If you will be leaving for a period of time over the winter, please contact us so we may monitor your account.
- Please advise us if you heat your hot water with heating oil. We can adjust our system to reflect that usage also.
Will Call Program
Our Will-Call customers have control over their fuel deliveries and we deliver only when they contact us. With this program there is a minimum order amount of 150 gallons. Same-day delivery is not always an option, so please call at least one day ahead of time. We charge a same-day delivery fee for the same-day service. A burner relighting fee will be charged if your burner needs to be relit.
Budget Program
A Smart Way to Manage your Monthly Bills!
Mayer Distributing's Budget Program begins in September and ends in May (nine months). You may join or quit the program at any time. If you join after the September start of the program, your payment amount will be pro-rated over the remaining months of the plan year.
The Budget Program may be combined with either our Keep Fill or Will-Call Program. Your winter heating bills will be averaged over the nine month time period and you are required to pay the same amount every month.
Budget amounts do not include other charges, such as those for same-day delivery / emergency service and burner relighting. By averaging your payments over several months, the Budget Program helps you avoid payment increases due to cold winter weather.
If you miss two of your monthly budget payments, you will automatically be removed from the Budget Program. If you are removed or quit the Budget Program before May, your total account balance will be due in full upon receipt of our statement.

DISCOUNT YOUR HOME HEATING BILLS!
Home heating customers are eligible to receive a 4-cent per gallon discount if payment is received in our office within 10 (ten) days of delivery. Previous account balances must be paid in full in order to receive the discount.
This discount only applies to customers paying by cash or check. Unfortunately, we are unable to make any exceptions to the ten day rule. Payments received eleven, twelve or thirteen days after delivery will not receive the discount. Please allow ample time for mailing.
Tank Removals and Installations
Buried oil tanks raise increasing environmental, safety, legal and economic concerns for home owners and home buyers.
We are fully licensed with the MPCA for your home heating oil tank installation and removal needs. Tank inspections (other than casual visual inspection), tank tests, removals or abandoned tanks, require you use a licensed expert. We remove all sizes of tanks located above and below ground. Proper closure will include all required permits and accompanying paperwork.
We work with local enforcement agencies and dispose of the tanks at MPCA-approved sites.
